Alan Hughes and Mouse Media have reached an agreement to launch a podcast series/online cooking show. Shows will be 5-10 minutes long and feature Alan’s signature dishes and recipes with a a unique twist and style.
Alan has been invited to the next Pecha Kucha at the Wolfsonian Museum in Miami Beach on June 18th from 7pm to 9pm where he will present his experience and developing project with the Juvenile Detention Center as well as his 1995 project Culinary Terrorism and other subjects TBA.
Alan also contributed a recipe to The People to People Ambassador Program.
Alan is also a frequent guest speaker at the Miami-Dade Juvenile Detention Center, where he covers topics such as the possibilities in the food industry as well as empowering the inmates to pursue a career in the culinary field.
Alan is currently involved in an Outreach Program in conjunction with Citi Church Miami and a Grant from The Children’s Trust, teaching teenagers how to cook and to nourish themselves better by making better food choices.
